VA - Goldmine Soul Supply (collection of 142 CDs)
MP3 CBR 320 | 20.7 GB (approx 150mb per album) | Hit & miss artwork included
Soul | Goldmine/Soul Supply | 5% recovery record | Source: internet

I have a collection of 135 titles (142 CDs) issued by Goldmine/Soul Supply record company. This is not a box set but rather it is a collection of albums that are similar in that they all are rare soul compilations by the same company. There are some tracks that are on more than one album but considering the scope and magnitude of this collection, the number of duplicated tracks is small. Some CDs have good artwork, some have none, most have some artwork of varying quality. All are 320 CBR MP3 and are fully tagged. Original post now has added CDs.

VA - Soul Hits of the 70s: Didn't It Blow Your Mind! Vol. 01-20 (1991-1995)
Soul, Funk | MP3 CBR 320 kbps | 1,98 Gb
Label: Rhino | Release Year: 1991-1995

As soul music moved into the early '70s, it became dominated by smoother sounds and polished productions, picking up its cues from Motown, Chicago soul, and uptown soul. By the beginning of the decade, soul was fracturing in a manner similar to pop/rock, as pop-soul, funk, vocal groups, string-laden Philly soul, and sexy Memphis soul became just a few of the many different subgenres to surface. Often, the productions on these records were much more polished than '60s productions, boasting sound effects, synthesizers, electric keyboards, echoes, horn sections, acoustic guitars, and strings.

Rhythm and Blues / Soul / Northern Soul / Motown

3CDs, 75 songs, and a set list that definitely lives up to the title – a collection that not only brings forth the best of Northern Soul from the glory days of the 60s, but also features lots of tracks from that time that have only been discovered in recent years too! Northern Soul isn't just a static concept on UK dancefloors – and instead has been driven by decades of record collectors and DJs with an ever-shifting ear for a groove – one that's lead to a nicely expansive version of the music that's really continued to thrill us with collections like this.

Ronnie Earl - Now My Soul
2004 | Blues | mp3 vbr | avg 195kbps| 114MB

Twenty years after leaving Roomful of Blues, and almost as many albums later, Earl has delivered one of his best efforts with Now My Soul. The album features what I call "big band blues," the kind of one-size-fits-all R&B revue popularized by the Blues Brothers films. Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters easily blend Chicago-styled blues with swinging R&B, jump-blues, and red-hot jazz licks influenced more by John Coltrane than by Muddy Waters, creating a free-wheeling instant party atmosphere.
